SHUT EM DOWN NOW Before i even read these reviews i knew that this place was horrid. I went in one and saw about 7 or 8 dead mice in a tank and told one of the workers who simply said he'd get it. i didnt ever see him get to it. so i stopped shopping there for a few months. but then today i went in with my father and i saw several dead mice, several dead lizards, and several dead fish. ive reported them to the humane society and plan to do it again. SHUT THEM DOWN
Dirty, Cruel, High Prices, Did I forget anything? I went into Aquaworld last night to grab a filter, I have been there many times and have always more or less regretted it, but last night was the last straw I will never shop there again. I walked in and on my right are 3 tanks stacked on one another 2 with plants the top one with snails. The top tank with the snails had a foot and a half long catfish floating there upside down with no eyes to which my girl friend said, "That is the most horrifying thing I'd ever seen." Aqua World -animal abuse!! Horrible place..animal cruelity..dirty,place is run by teen-agers.18 in. koi is floating on it's side in a crowded aquarium. he will be dying soon and nobody cares! Shut this place down!!!
HORRIBLE!!! SHUT HIM DOWN!!!! How long is this person going to be allowed to torture animals??? Hamsters eating each other because they are starving, rabbits matted with feces and urine, birds pulling feathers out from stress, furry animal tanks filthy with dead animals in with the live ones, a back room full of boxes with animals in them, in the dark with no vent, food or water, stacked up like stock, he shoots his own birds when they fly out of the store, 95 percent of the furry animals had NO FOOD AND NO WATER!!! I was disgusted I should have believed the reviews. This place literally stinks, the salt water tanks are the only ones that are extremely clean. The rest are dirty. The lizard tanks are dirty. They had approx. 10 little quill in a very small cage and they had no water. I will never go there again.
Disgrace This place is horrible. I was actually sad when I left. It is dark, and full of garbage. Be careful you don't step on a critter or in a puddle while browsing the store.
DO NOT BUY A REPTILE FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!! I Don't have a problem with this place and their fish, but the care and husbandry of the reptiles is deplorable. I've seen very sick and emaciated animals up for sale. Mites crawling over the reptiles. Animals living in their own feces, the most filthy cages, on some of the cages the glass was so dirty that it was hard to see through it. Animals crowded together in a cage. Great place for exotic fish. Say what you want about their birds, but this place has some of the best breeds for deep pocketed fishkeepers around. Their selection of flowerhornes are amazing. This place breeds some serious south american cichlids in the display room and has many noteworthy offerings for a fish hobbiest..
