They have made a business model of claiming a diagnostic fee from American Home Shield with zero intent of fixing anything. They will lie to you and the warranty company claiming chemical damage, mismatched equipment, or missing check valve. If all the complainants would band together a class action would rid Atlanta of these thieves.
Google reviews of this company are absolutely accurate. Our home warranty company American Home Shield has them as their only contractor option. Like in another post they submitted a completely false claim blaming chemicals when it was nothing more than sensors being bad. The guy fixing it shows up in a sedan and used a steak thermometer to test the temperature 🤬. I agree with you the poor reviews of Aquatech listed here. My warranty company forced me to use this company on several occasions. Each time they submitted erroneous reports about our pool, resulting in the warranty company denying the claim due to lack of maintenance and “not” normal wear and tear. We have a pool company that services the pool weekly in peak season and so our pool is well maintained. Most recently, they claimed damage was from a missing check valve. I agree all the other poor reviews of Aqua tech listed here. My warranty company forced me to use this company otherwise I wouldn't have. This company submitted an incredibly false report about our pool pump, which resulted in the warranty company denying the claim. I would never recommend anyone use aqua tech. Their customer service is terrible and they are not knowledgeable to repair pool pumps.
