Food was cooked perfectly, service was absolutely terrible. Over an hour for food, never refilled drinks until we asked the hostess.
The atmosphere is nice, but that’s where the complements stop. Staff appears confused and running around without accomplishing anything. After finally ordering, two out of three meals were just straight up wrong. I saw a review on yelp that described Aqua Star as a boujee Waffle House, I I think that’s a great description. Would not recommend.
Top notch service. No complaints there. The food, however, was awful. I ordered the Airline Chicken, which other than the char marks had no flavor at all. The "crispy" Brussel sprouts were raw and the potatoes had zero seasoning. My husband had the porkchop and while tender, like the chicken it had no flavor. The mac and cheese he ordered ala carte was dry and cold. Our meal was more than $100 and we left starving because we could not eat our meal.
We waited for our food for over an hour. We asked to leave off the chili seasoning on my daughter's salmon because she is allergic. They brought it out with the seasoning on it so we sent it back. We had to wait awhile longer for them to remake it and my daughter was starving by this point. They brought it out the second time after my husband and I had already finished eating, but the piece of salmon was only about 1/3 the size of the original entree and in addition, it was not good. The reviews are true. Very long waits. Cold food, spotty quality and service, cold atmosphere. The sea bass was quite good, which is the 2nd star. They were out of half the items on the menu, and drinks were inconsistent and very slow.
