Nice service from bartender. Food was ok. Ambiance is not so good. Bright lighting and converted hotel meeting space feel cold and impersonal. What a waste of an opportunity by a resort property such as Westin.
Best food and staff at breakfast, lunch and dinner It was all delicious food and staff was on point. Atmosphere was amazing to look out over the river and see the boats go down the river
My 'crispy chicken sandwich' turned out to be a processed patty from an air fryer. Like what you'd get from a middle school cafeteria. For 18 bucks it was laughably bad. As the hotel's only restaurant (currently) this is 2 star territory. Added a star for our server who was actually nice, apologized and just said... yup
We recently stayed at the Westin Savannah and had several meals at Aqua Star. First, the breakfast service by Patrice was truly spectacular. She was a delight and a highlight each morning by remembering our drink order and greeting us with a big smile! She is great! The food from the menu was really good and fresh. I tried this restaurant at the hotel 5 times and every time the food and service was awful. When I tried dinner, I ordered the scallops. Those were not only the worst scallops I’ve ever had, but the worst seafood I’ve ever had. They were so tough that I couldn’t even cut them with my knife let alone chew them.
