The employees here act like they have no time for you at all, if your lucky enough to even get any of their attention. we sat in the store trying to get help for 30 minutes and the employees just kept walking past us, as soon as someone else walks through the door they are quick to help them but won't help someone that has been waiting 30 minutes. this has happened several times to my husband and I and we drive from the Reno area, we will never go to this store again!

I want to like this fish store but three trips in and I just can't. The tanks are miniscule and filled with so many fish. There are too many sick, dying, or dead fish. I know there will be some loss with so many fish, but there's just too many or maybe they just suck at removing dead fish in a timely manner compared to other local fish stores. The other thing that I'm actually really pissed about is I was looking for tissue cultured Java Moss. My tanks don't have bladder/pond snails and I want it to stay that way. I called a... read more
great lfs, got some awsome fish. they are smaller but can get anything you want and try well to keep everything you need.
Great selection with new inventory weekly! Best live rock around!!! Employees are very knowledgeable and go out of their way for you. Make the drive you won’t regret it!!

I know nothing about marine life, but my son (inspired marine biologist at the age of 7) really wanted his own aquarium. The store is right down the street from our house and I am so pleased with their professionalism and knowledge on all marine life. We’ve not decided on a “best fit” for our family - between our recent remodel and move- but when we are ready, I’m definitely going there! Also, support your local business. This is a family-owned shop and we love local business.
