I am an owner of healthy yorkie-poo. We started to visit AQL from the moment we got her. Cookie is almost 2 yrs old and Dr. Fred was always amazing! What I can say is that any emergency situation was resolved ASAP! Dr. Fred himself checked pictures that I sent before going to the office. We never waited long for an appointment or to be seen. I have seen Dr Fred for my dogs for years when I lived on Staten Island. I always feltvery pleased with his care, and his sympathy for his patients. I have been living in New Jersey for several years now, and as my dogs aged have use other vets here in New Jersey. Most of the vets here are very over priced, not sincere with all the testing, seems they push for unnecessary testing for minor aliments. Feeling this way i returned to Dr Fred's office recently. Dr. Fred = Witch Doctor Let me share my experience with Doctor Fred, my daughter was diagnosed with lupus, and could not work, and her Yorkshire terrier was sick, she could not afford to take the dog to a vet, and she also lived in New Jersey, so a friend said try doctor Fred, he look at the dog and said the dog has Cushing disease and a blood test would cost us more money, and from his expertise he could tell it was Cushing disease, my wife told him do the blood test we will pay for it, we began to treat the dog with medici... read more

Dr. Lacuata is the kindest and most compassionate person my dog could know. He truly cares about animals and is not in it for the money at all. He explains everything in laymans terms and talks you through everything he does. He will never perform unnecessary tests or procedures. He is absolutely wonderful and I would never take my dog anywhere else.
