Came to my house saying they want to get rid of “spiders and mosquitoes.” Um - spiders eat mosquitoes. Like we all learned in elementary school. Really disgusted by the “environmental services” moniker when this company is spraying poison in my neighborhood and destroying the biome. Poison isn’t good for people, creatures, or plants. Go away.
I have dashcam footage of their driver cutting me off, yelling at me, and trying to fight me. When I called to complain, they left me on hold for 14 minutes and hung up on me. Stay far away
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! I hope someone will read this and avoid the same mistake we did. These treatments are very toxic to butterflies and caterpillars. Every year we raise dozens of caterpillars from eggs and release them as butterflies. This year, especially after Aptive treatment, dead! They told us no harm would come to pollinators but we are experiencing the opposite. In addition, the main pests mosquito and ants are thriving. Please avoid. IT KILLS THE MONARCHS AND SAVES THE MOSQUITOS
We switched to Aptive this summer. They really sold us about the preventative measures they take. However, this has been a horrible mistake to switch. We have had more mosquitoes this year than we have in the 8 years we have lived here. Aptive came on Wednesday afternoon and by Saturday there were swarms of mosquitoes when we would go outside. I called them , because a neighbor uses their service. My call was thrown into their call center sales area. It was awful. I asked simple pricing questions and got a very pushy sales person (Mike) who tried to “ strong arm “ me into signing up for their services on the spot. I said, I am gathering info and I will talk to my wife and call you back. He did not like that and hung up on me!
