If they try to tell you its 199 dollars to cancel and didnt warn you about this when you signed up just contact the better business bureau they will help you resolve the issue. Aptive is not a good company and their custome service is appalling. I closed my whole bank account to avoid paying them until I threatened them with the BBB then they were immediately nicer.
Do not use Aptive!! This company tricks people into signing up for their service and then charges their credit card every month for nothing. I just discovered this morning my wife was tricked into signing up back in May, by a door-to-door sales rep (scammer) named Evan Hawthorne. They tricked my Mother in to a $20 dollar lawn treatment. She asked them multiple times to confirm she wasnt going to sign up for any membership they told her no. That was a lie, they turned around and charge her for a membership. When she tried to cancel they charged her $200 cancelation fee. She worked with her bank and BBB to get it back.
