Extremely disappointed with April Point Resort. They cancelled our reservation less than two weeks before our stay — during the busy long weekend, making it nearly impossible to find other accommodations. This trip was supposed to be for our 10-year wedding anniversary, and instead of celebrating, we were left scrambling last minute. What a beautiful spot!! The nature that we got experience right from our room, was out of this world. I don't know if it was because of the time of year or the spot, but the best wildlife experience I've ever had. Whales, Sea Lions, Seals, Eagles, schools of Herring and to top the evening beautifully lit up cruise ships sailing by. This resort needs lots of repair to bring it back to what it once was. What potential.

Had a really nice stay. The rooms need updating for sure, they are out of date. But the location is stunning, we saw seals, eagles, tens of thousands of herring, a whale. It was a good base to explore the island.

Quaint waterfront resort. Good people and excellent location, but overpriced for the fact that facilities are dated, staff is not always on site, and there was a dead bug in my bathroom when I arrived. That said, I did really enjoy my stay and would consider coming back.
