We were pleasantly surprised to find Apprentice BBQ just a 15 minute drive from our campsite at Pymatuning State Park, near Andover, Ohio. We had their Rodeo Wrap, Brisket Sandwich, Mac and cheese, and Smoked Veggies, and they were all delicious!
A friend recommended Apprentice BBQ to me and since it was lunchtime (and I was hungry) I went directly to the restaurant for lunch. My haste was rewarded by outstanding customer service, superb food (Brisket Sandwich), and a quaint “local” dining area. I met the owner who was extremely friendly and outgoing…it was nice to meet the person responsible for the great lunch experience. Food was phenomenal and the prices are great.
I've had several sandwiches at Apprentice BBQ, they've all been really good and made fresh in a timely manner. I wish there were more options for side dishes like some sort of pasta salad or dinner salad, etc.
