Do not employ Debbie Ventimiglia or Appliance Subcontractors. Appliance Subcontractors' technician came to my residence to repair my oven which was not heating. The technian diagnosed the problem as the heating element. He made me pay for the element in the amount of $159 and departed to a parts store to buy the element. When he installed the element, he said I was all set and left. I started the oven, but it would not heat above 200 degrees. I wished I saw the reviews before I called this company!!!!! 1) total rip off on pricing; 2) very inexperience technician; 3) the female owner who answered the phone never returned calls when she said was going to call back; 4) no repair was completed. I had a dishwasher leaking occasionally. The technician arrived and wanted to see where it leaks and sat there for 1 hour to wait for the leaking, which did not happen. Absolutely the worst repair company out there! DO NOT use them. You will be throwing your money away. They were to replace a part on our washer. The technician came out and supposedly replaced the part. When we tried to use the washer, gallons of water leaked from the washer. The technician came out again, took the part and we never saw him again. I filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Office of the Attorney General of Missouri. The son of the family owned Appliance Subcontractors came out on a service call on a Monday for our washer and dryer. He took both machines apart, charged us $75 and told us he would order parts and call us the next day to schedule a time to return. We never heard back on Tuesday. I called Wednesday and the woman on the phone who is the owner told me her son's car broke down but he might be able to take another car and come over. No return call. I had my refrigeration unit repair by this company. My refrigeration unit broke again and I was told that the parts were incorrect for this unit (by another company when they ran the control codes). I took it with a grain of salt and called Appliance Subcontractors and told them what the company had said and I was not sure that is the case. Before I could finish the lady starts yelling at me, talking over me and hangs up on me. I called back saying was not sure if we were cut off/ she then told me that she had hung up on me.... read more
