They came out in May, 2016 and said we needed a new door on our refrigerator, which would cost thousands. The actual problem was that the ice maker was installed wrong and hot air was getting into the freezer, making water leak into the auger motor, rusting it out and freezing it. Another guy fixed it for $100. Zero Stars
We were told that the service person would be at our house between 3-5 PM. We got a call at 4 PM to say it would be at least an hour and a half. When we called to reschedule for the morning - the dispatcher sent us to another shop - because they "really don't service Whirlpools".
I had a horrible experience at first, but as it turns out it was partly due to our appliance brand. Shelly has been incredibly helpful trying to work this situation.
You see John Baker, the manufacturer tells the technician to charge you for the service call if it is not a product mechanical failure. Maybe it came across wrong but he was trying to help you out by not charging you for that, thus maybe earning a good review for others to see. It's nothing dishonest, it was actually the technician working on your behalf. If he stuck to the letter of the law you would be out 125.00.
Timothy provided superior customer service for Maytag washing machine. He was thorough, detailed in his approach to diagnose the problem and I found him to be extremely talented, cheerful, and hardworking. Timothy is a true asset to your company!
