Lovely place, very rarely did I encounter residents, which in itself is a pro to me. From what I have seen they Handel their residents with the utmost care and respect. Not much more to say its a neat place.
Living at Applewood Pointe provides many opportunities to make new friends, have fun working on projects, share a meal or play a game. By serving on a committee, I also appreciate having a voice in how our community is governed and how problems are solved. Over the past 5 years, it has been quite amazing to see how many of us have talents and interests that fit well with the needs of our community and how many residents are willing to contribute.
Applewood is a wonderfully caring community for residents and guests. My aunt found a wonderful home, fast friendships and fun activities at Applewood until her passing. There were many events, parties and activities to stay active and social. On the four occasions I stayed or visited Applewood, I found the facility to be clean, cozy, and elegant. If I lived closer, I would put my name on the waitlist.
What a wonderful senior independent community. Very active social committee, library, craft room, wood shop, several party rooms and lounges. Well maintained grounds. Indoor parking for each unit. The only expenses above the HOA fee are electricity and personal insurance.
I live near this facility and have been harassed by a disgruntled resident claiming that AWP owns the street that is shared with several other properties and that we were on private property. There is Eden Prairie trail access on each side of the development. The miserable man told us we were not to use their trail access or dog waste receptacle. What happened to being a kind neighbor?
