Soon I will have lived here 3 years. It’s one of the choices I have made that has given me a beautiful space in which to live with the greatest neighbors. I never thought at my age, I would make such great new friends. I can walk to groceries, pharmacy, restaurants, the dentist, and the local gas station had a great car wash. Coop living gives me a chance to be involved and I serve on a committee and do some other community tasks. I don’t believe you can make this decision too soon. Come see us now!!
We moved here from out-of-state 2 1/2 years ago to be near family. We have made good friends and enjoy social events with the larger community. I don't miss the hassles of home maintenance, snow removal and lawn care! I enjoy the committee work that I have chosen to do. I love living in Bloomington -- shopping and recreation are so convenient. We have discovered numerous routes for bike riding. We enjoy sunsets from our west-facing deck and windows.
I have lived here for two years, and I love it! The people are so friendly and helpful, and there are many activities to participate in. This is a great place to live in retirement, and the location is close to groceries, gas stations, restaurants and shopping. It’s also beautifully landscaped.
In addition to all the great things others have written about our Lyndale community, my west-facing balcony allows for some great people watching!
We have been really happy with my mom's choice to move here. The location is very convenient and safe. There are lots of options for getting involved but also a great place to live independently.
