our favorite place but this time i was disappointed camp ground male bathrooms was neglected was plug up please take care maybe under new management ?
I love this area of lytle creek. We love bringing our leashed dogs. Every time we have been there there were not a lot of people. It's so peaceful. It's only about a half hour drive from where we live. We have a tradition on the way out we stop by the little restaurant/market and grab a soda for the road. The staff is very friendly.
Applewhite Picnic Area & camping ground is a great spot near LA, easily accessible for a quick getaway to the creek. The entrance fee is $10, but it's free if you reserve a campsite. Be sure to go early, though, as spots fill up quickly! Overall, a nice place for a day out in nature.
