Receptionist basically made it my problem that the e-script that should have come via text a month ago, didn't. I was asked to check my spam texts, which I did. I was met with "well it says it was sent". Basically felt like I'd ruined her life by asking if it could be re-sent. Apparently the doctor working from home tomorrow makes this difficult? Unsure. Unhappy. Do better. Also your clinic was closed to incoming phone calls for over an hour today for lunch. What even is that?
If you want an appointment with the doctor of your choice, expect to wait several weeks for an appointment. This impacts on consistency of teatment for people with ongoing health issues. If you don't mind 'pot luck' then wait times are shorter. Aside from that, they're as good as any other practice I've used. Short update….been sitting in the waiting room so long this morning I’m thinking of sending out for Uber Eats!
Reception staff…. That’s all that needs to be said
4 yrs ago I gave a five star rating Nothing has changed with my GP, Dr Nick but what's with the reception staff. Rude and lack the ability to listen. Just in the wrong job especially Hanna and Deanna. I've read through many of these reviews and it seems like patients, many loyal patients are turned off by the reception staff. The gatekeepers. My wife had the worst experience going to a dr at this practice for a mental health consult. Basically was patronised, made to feel humiliated, belittled and left feeling shamed. No wonder suicide rates are so high in the community when gp’s are this incompetent at managing mental crises.
