I saw on here someone said Dr. Appleton is the Micheal Jordan of psychiatrist. I completely agree with that statement.
For reasons of privacy and confidentiality I will only say this. If you prescribe your patient a medication that you should not have, and the prescription was made contrary to the guidelines of the APA, the least you could have done was to warn them of the potential consequences, and once these consequences occurred, you should be skilled enough to help them get off the medication. Not to mention a check in to see how they are doing. I sadly made the referral to Dr. Appleton. Needless to say I greatly regret it.
