I was inThe Applegreen on Waterford Rd this morning. I am in there fairly often as the oat coffee is particularly good, but I was charged €12.90 for 4 plain scones & a large oat coffee. I won't be buying scones there again I'm sorry to say. After a phone call to clarify the price, turns out the scones are €2.25 each. The oat coffee €3.90. 4 scones for €3 in Mahers Londis Cashel Rd & the coffee there is every bit as delicious at €3.50 for a large cup. €6.50 as opposed to €12.90 almost twice the price.
