After getting into town late and needing a bite to eat, no one seemed to mind that I was near closing time to grab a bite to eat and a beer. Everyone was pleasant and right on top of great service. Grace at the bar was very friendly and welcoming! The chicken quesadilla was excellent as well.
We wait over 2 hours for our food. Food cold. Services suck. Don’t recommended.
We had a party of 8 (6 adults + 2 children). We were seated right away. Ordered drinks and our food. The drinks arrived promptly. However, we waited 2 hours for appetizers and food. In that time, we had no drink refills and the waitress forgot about one of the kids' drinks. Either the waitress had too many tables, or she was not doing her job. I addressed my concerns with the manager and he said "ok". No offer to discount our meal for our long wait. I would NOT recommend Applebees in Clinton, Iowa.
