Good food and good service.
I sit down and there is ants on the table so I move tables. I order a 8oz sirloin medium. They bring it out well done 30 to 40 minutes later. The restaurant barely has any customers at the time. Im trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but wait another 30 minutes and the steak is even more cooked than the first one. This place used to be a decent place to eat in Rocky Mount but has really gone downhill in the last few years. My last few experiences here have been like this. Our server Taylor S. was awesome. The past couple times I've been here I've gotten stale servers and not so great food but Taylor changed that! Definitely the best day I've ever had at Applebee's. (05/17/26)
We visited on May 17th 2026, and our server Taylor was awesome!! She was incredibly nice and attentive, and even the manager was nice and honest about food being a bit delayed, which we didn't mind!! Definitely the best Applebee's experience I've had so far visiting :) We've been unlucky with servers in the past, but Taylor was incredible!
