The waitress steals your change if you pay cash. The food is ok but my problem with this place is a waitress steals your change. On a $78 bill when the waitress was given a $50 and 2-$20's which is $90 she only returns with $2 in change and made some comment about not having $.85, while stealing $10. Which would have been part of her $15 tip but because she stole $10 from me, we left no additional tip on the table. We will not be returning to this restaurant. Enjoy the $10.85 you stole.
We usually eat at the Applebee's in Clarion. I always get the 8 oz steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I have NEVER had a bad meal in Clarion. At this Applebee's, they were out of broccoli. My choices to substitute were another potato choice with my mashed potatoes (who eats 2 potato sides?) or green beans, or coleslaw. I chose coleslaw. It arrived in a tiny cup, definitely not equivalent to the broccoli I should have received. I ordered my steak "medium". It did not have any pink in it, at all, and it was almost rubber... read more
