On Friday, my wife and I visited Applebee’s and had the worst restaurant experience we’ve had in over 65 years. After being seated, we waited 27 minutes before anyone asked if we wanted a drink. During that time, there was no acknowledgment or basic customer service from the staff. When we finally received a bottle of water, we waited another 22 minutes before a server even inquired if someone was helping us.
