Applebee’s is not a sports bar. I learned this the hard way. This is the first time I’ve ever gone to an Applebee’s. I will never make this mistake again. You have to listen to elevator music! The actual game that’s on??? they could care less about! I have to assume it’s the same with the Super Bowl or the World Series or the NBA finals. Why would you not want to listen to the game? Decided to stop by after work and I'm so glad I did. The bartender Celina said she was newish to the bar area but it did not seem like it. She did such an amazing job and made the visit that much more enjoyable.

An uodate, came in a 2nd time and it was better, but the staff still takes FOREVER to get to you at the bar. Sat at the bar and the bartenders made no attempt to talk to me like other Applebee's. Most unfriendly and unwelcome staff ever. They talked to other people, but ignored me and they saw I came in alone.Felt so uncomfortable it was unreal. They did not ask me to refill my drink when it was bone dry for a while. Manager was standing around staff and never said hello to anyone. Came in as a new patron. Corporate should c... read more
