I’ve read the articles about Applebee’s Financial troubles. They have over $2 billion in long-term debt and closed more than 100 stores in the past 10 months. I live in Southern Maryland and they just closed the one in California Maryland. I thought I’d give the one in Prince Frederick a try and I walked out knowing why this location won’t be in business much longer either despite going there in the middle of lunch, I was one of three people in the restaurant. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted which was nice, our server was amazing, not so much the food. I usually love Applebees but today the food was okay overall, and I liked what I ordered (chicken parm alfredo) although the chicken breading was pretty hard and could have been better. Unfortunately, my boyfriend got sick after eating the grilled cheese cheeseburger, which was concerning, possibly food poisoning.
