Please note most of these reviews are really old. I moved to Apple Valley just over a year ago to live with my son for a while until I filed for a retirement and I kept looking for the Apple Valley inn or the Roy Rogers in but I realize now it was here and it's closed. Then I realized that was the rooms to the end and the larger buildings used to be the restaurant for everybody ate that they're mentioning. Thrift stores in auto parts stores. Great for antiques, extremely nice couple running the place. I know I'll be there again.
Apple Valley Inn In 1965, movie stars Roy Rogers and Dale Evans and their family became residents of Apple Valley. Roy leased the inn and restaurant, which was then renamed Roy Rogers' Apple Valley Inn. The Outdoor Steak Fry and the Roy Rogers' Riding Stables, with its haywagon rides and horseback riding, were popular. It never became Palm Springs. Those cold winds at night might have been one of the issues.
Just remodeled very nice but kind of rude. Need to clean up screws and nails. And vacuum up drywall. Work in progress it kept us warm for 2 nights. Would go back again. Best in A. V. AND WITH THE CAMERAS FOR MY CAR. TY
