I think it’s really hard to look for a therapist, but there’s something so approachable about this practice. I also love the groups and events they have, giving you more opportunities to learn than just therapy.
The therapists are genuine and caring. They are also well versed with neurodiverse children and help navigating the public school system and issues that may arise from being neurodivergent. We recommend to my friends and family!
I've been so impressed with everyone at Apple Tree Counseling—they've all been compassionate, supportive, transparent, and professional. I've appreciated the thoughtfulness and intention that has gone into finding the "right" therapist all the while wrangling schedules, reminders, and check-ins. Michelle is just the type of person I would want to send a child or teen I love to. Warm, approachable, caring, funny, unassuming... she's the type of clinician a child would love to connect with- able to both laugh and cry with you, to be both playful and serious, with skill to know when each is needed. There are not enough good child therapists to refer to-- so I am so grateful to have Michelle and her team as someone I can confidently send clients to and trust they will be supported in the way they need!
The people here are hacks like most therapists they loop you in on endless pointless sessions to keep you in and make money I'm better off on my own don't ever trust a therapist
