I had a pair of Stromberg carbs that hadn’t used in 25 years! They rebuilt completely and they looked and worked like brand new! Great customer service! Highly recommend!
DO NOT GET CARBURETORS REBUILT HERE. Apple Hydraulics put two mis matched main jets in my stromberg carburetors, did not match the floats whatsoever & float height was not set correctly. Complete waste of time as I ended up pulling the carburetors and rebuilding them upon receiving. Tried to get a refund through Amex and these guys charged my card again. Absolutely disappointing.
They did not sleeve my Wilwood master cylinder despite their website and e-mail clearly saying that the complete rebuild service includes sleeving in brass. The rebuilt cylinder ended up worse than it was before their rebuild: it chewed up the rear piston seal after just 30 miles!
I got rebuilt shocks for my 67 MBG GT, everything went in easy, everything was in spec and honestly, they looked better then new. For any work on swivel axles, carbs or brake hydraulics I will be purchasing from them in the future.
Have used Apple Hydraulics in the past to rebuild a master cylinder for a 1948 International box truck with great results. Have another 1940's 1 1/2 ton truck master cylinder that needed a rebuild in an effort to keep the original MC versus installing a newer and non-original replacement. Reasonable turn around time and fair pricing in saving this original MC.
