I've been going to this dental office for a number of years now, and have outlived a number of the dentists. The current dentist, Dr. Chen, is fabulous. So are Gabby and Rosa, the dental assistants. I've actually fallen asleep while they were working on my teeth. That is gentle work. Gabby will always find a way to help you pay for your procedures and Dr. Chen does great work. She is especially known for her night guards. Go here. Its worth it.

I have been coming here for about 2 years now. They have been really great with me and the services they provide and are helpful and have knowledge. I have two fillings that I have to get replaced because they are old and need to get replaced. I got a cleaning done with Karen. Excellent job from here. She is careful and makes sure your doing fine when she clean and ask if you are sensitive before doing any work. Extraction w/ bone graft The doctor did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable and in as little pain as possible. He listened to me when I made comments about comfort which was new for me. He filled me in on everything that was going on and what the next steps were, very informative and knowledgeable. Nothing bad I can say other than they seemed a little under staffed.
This is dental care the way it should be. Dr Potter at SmileMax is the best. After 15 years in LA, I can now say I have a dentist. Dr Potter discussed stress, oral microbiome and the hygiene hypothesis with me. I have never had such a conversation with a dentist before...functional medicine doctors yes, but never a dentist. I am very impressed with Dr Potter and his staff.
