I'd been to Ikea, I'd been to Mor Furniture, I'd been seriously considering plunking down $2k for a hide-a-bed sofa at La-Z-Boy because there just wasn't anything affordable that was worth a damn. We decided to stop into Apple Crate before dinner because it was in the 'hood and why not? I was pretty sure I wanted a hide-a-bed for the spare bedroom, and not a futon at this point. I visited this store twice before purchasing. They were very accomodating and understand my need to measure and assure a good fit. The transaction was fast and easy. I purchased a queen size frame which came in 4 separate boxes. The assembly was very very easy, and the furniture is sturdy unlike most "assembly required" pieces I have seen. The selection is not HUGE which i found to be beneficial, but it was great to find such quality and affordability at a local store.

This little mom and pop warehouse-type-store has all of the basics, solid quality and super fair prices. This has been my go-to place for mattresses and beds for years. The owners are great too.
