Tried to order pulled pork BBQ plateTried to order the apple crisp desert. Nope, out of apple crisp. Burnt ends were pork belly, not the ends of a pork shoulder. Settled for the pulled chicken sandwich and brisket plate. Pulled chicken was good, nothing extraordinary. The food was excellent and very quick. The appetizer of brisket cheese egg rolls came out with the entrees. We had ribs, pulled chicken, sweet potato casserole, Mac and cheese, and baked beans. Unfortunately the service was cold and unfriendly. I didn't see them smile one time. They just pointed at a table from across the room with a frown to seat us. No improvements from then on.
We started with the brisket and pimento cheese egg rolls. They were so good that we forgot to take a picture of them! Highly recommend to start with those. Our food was delicious and the meat was still tender and juicy when we reheated the leftovers the next day.
