Had Appenzell do some excavation work for us and bring in a few loads of crush to prep our yard for a future deck and shed. They also regraded our driveway and removed a few tree stumps. They did great work, worked fast, and communicated very well throughout the process. They gave excellent recommendations throughout our project. They even did some last minute requests to remove some concrete as they had finished early. Cam went out of his way to take on our smaller project with last minute notice. The team at Appenzell were professional and easy to work with. The crew were always positive, respectful, and enjoyable to have around - even while completing a reno with two young kids in the house. No major setbacks and workmanship quality was exceptional. Labour and materials costs are high in Revelstoke, which is a challenge but we felt that good communication helped us mitigate concerns and stay on budget. I hired Appenzell in 2020 for a renovation project in downtown Revelstoke and until today the thought of this company and its owner brings me feelings of frustration. In short, this company made an extensive damage in my foundation by working negligently, out of scope, without authorization or proper technical supervision or knowhow; did the worst lap siding job I ever seen, among other issues.
