Specialties Appalachian Piecework is a working studio where people can watch me producing my products that are sold in the shop. I begin with the raw local materials which may be wool or alpaca, blend them and spin them into yarns which then get woven into cloth for bags, runners and accessories. This is a must-do experience (walking through the shop) for any fiber arts lover.
They went out of business according to their neighbors in Staunton Station. Very annoyed that the website shows they are open. I am from Delaware here visiting and wasted my time on this
