Joe and his team work so hard to please their customers, by creating high quality custom cabinetry and furniture that will last for years to come. From meeting with clients, designing their dream cabinets, and building everything from scratch, every detail is thoughtfully considered and brought to life.

Appalachian Woodworks was one of the best contractors we dealt with in our construction process. They helped with layout and design, including advising on stain, paint and hardware. Joe did all cabinets, floating shelves, several custom doors and my office. I would recommend them in a heartbeat! Excellent craftsmanship, very reasonable pricing and responsive when I needed them!

Joe made a high-end oak door for me and it is less than 2 years old and already cracking/splitting. I have sent him several messages, even texted him directly and gotten no response whatsoever. I do not recommend using this company. They are totally unresponsive and do not stand behind their work. All I am requesting is that the door be repaired and the tiny holes where light is coming through (see photo 4) be corrected.
