SO RUDE! We had a new referral and they were just so rude and did not want to help. They missed out on extra pay and travel pay. DO NOT WORK WITH!

Caring, knowledgeable staff who are there when you need them during the most difficult time. I could not recommend any other hospice agency that provides such care except Appalachian Hospice Care ,

Worst experience I’ve ever gone through. One of the hospice nurses told me I had no say so in my husbands care. They at first told me they wouldn’t change his meds and the day after he signed the papers his meds were changed to morphine. They would raise the dose daily and comment on how unusual it was that he was still talking. It took less than two weeks raising the dosage daily and they accomplished what they wanted. After he passed I kept getting a bill. They’d tell me to throw it in the garbage. After the third time I c... read more

The love and compassion this group of nurses shown my sick mom and our family was amazing. Every single time we called and needed anything they were there ASAP with exactly what we needed. God Bless each one of these special people. We didn’t know what to expect from Appalachian Hospice and was so glad they were here for us in our time of need.
