Great Cartersville restaurant and good food.
Update - 09/10/2026: We had some plans in Cartersville to fall through and decided to see if we could get in at Appalachian grill for dinner around 7 o'clock. We were surprised that it was not crowded and had only a ten minute wait. After the meal, I came to understand why. This was a 4-star (or better) restaurant when it first opened. I do not know who owns this now, but the quality was just not the same. The salad was "wet". The texture of the lettuce was as if it was cut two days ago. Food was over cooked. The server was not attentive had to ask multiple times to refill or water glass. Everyone that came after we did receive their food a long time before we did had to ask and when we did get our food it was not even hot.
