Be sure you ask detailed questions. I didn't and found and old dingy with no outboard. Dishes in the galley were old and scared. Boat had a good deal of clutter. Chart plotter had a really old chip that did not show some recent san shoaling. Edit after owner response: I did not go to Black River (Weather was Bad). I did compare my Garmin App Charts with your very old chart plotter and found differences in Sand Bay and Stockton. My fault, didn't ask the age of the sailboat we rented but never expected Taboo to be 40 years old. Needs repairs, is dirty, and not worth renting. Check other charter companies and newer boats for the same price. Details showed a shower but never stated that it was not working. Tape holding lots of things together. Can't leave water on because it turns on constantly and dims lights. Not all lights worked. When they did, they would turn on and off. I could go on and on. Apostle Islands Charters provides well-maintained boats at an incredible value. Their customer service was excellent, the staff was profession and knowledgeable, and they provide the opportunity to sail in one of the most gorgeous places in the US!
