The doctors and staff are very professional and I always feel like I’m right at home when I visit.
Fastest and most efficient Dr's office I've ever been to. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Patients beware. First, Employees are great. But, been going there for years, never had a problem. Since becoming AdventHealth they will try to charge you for extra office visits. I went there for my yearly physical, covered in full by insurance. I had a few questions about something new affecting me and because I had a discussion about something not covered in the field of the physical appointment, they charged me for another office visit. including a co-pay. For the last 16 years that I have been going to Apopka Family Practice, I have 0 problems for my 4 sons and myself. Everytime I go there I'm treated with respect and seen in a timely matter. They have always called a reminder for an appointment.
Beware. Horrible experience. I only went for a physical. First let me say I have a deductible plan not a co-pay plan. Advent charged me a Dr. visit to come in to get a prescription for the blood work for my physical. Then when I returned Advent charged for two office visits. The NP asked my history and said I need cholesterol medication due to my blood work. Because of that one detail they were able to charge 2 Dr. visits at the one visit. So I ended up paying for 3 visits total. I ended up getting charged out of pocket $400... read more
