Dr. Chawla is an excellent knowledgeable Oncologist. He has a fantastic bedside manner, Dr. Chawla explains everything very thoroughly step by step. I've never had my biopsies and bloodwork broken down and explained so well before and this is my 5th Cancer.. Amy is his PA and they're a fantastic team in the Barrington location. They spend a lot of time with each patient and both are very thorough with answering all questions. The staff and nurses are very kind and helpful too. He is the best dr in his field and is very direct and tells u like it is my wife and I have seen him several times he explains things very well also he makes calls to you to let you no what is going on if you want a dr that is very good he is the one you would go to I had 2 bleed outs and I went to other doctors and had no idea what to do he took care of it and I still see him and I am in better shape today because of him
Amazing physician. He's gone the extra mile for my mother in law's medical needs and clearly cares about his patients. He's able to conversate effectively what is necessary medically and his treatment team is readily available. He translates our family's emotions into medical triage and facts and we greatly appreciate everything you've done for her!
Billing Dept (Amy & KIm) never return calls as promised to resolve an issue with Quest on a test that was pre-approved by Quest. This has been going on since Aug 2019. All I ever hear is I am in touch with Quest. I am out over $200 because they cannot get this resolved. The doctor notes were never sent & Billing says they need to know which notes. Terrible Billing!!!! Stay away from any Lab Service! So wrong to treat patients and their family this way!
I have never had a more caring and understanding doctor in my entire life this man spent a lot of time checking into things for me and for people like me and I know he did it with heart and compassion for what he does.He is good at what he does. thank you and thank you to the staff at NorthWest Oncology!
