Are you serious – I am not sure where the other reviwers ate at in NY or NJ. My wife and I went Saturday at 7PM, packed with brisk business. Our first visit and previosuly been to several well known Pizza shops in NY, Italy, and Dallas. So we know a little bit about Pizza. We ordered our drinks. wine selection is limitted but who cares in a good Pizza joint right.. We ordered Paige's specialty Pizza. I like it. – Good pizza for Cincinnati's standards - better than Dewey's, same quality perhaps as Fratelli's Pizzeria.
Decent Pizza – Aponte's is good. It's not great New York style, but it's pretty good for around here. The atmosphere is weird.
Great Pizza, Ignore The Flies – I have a suggestion for the owner of Aponte's. Close the frickin door. I love the east coast style of pizza but theres a new invention called air-conditioning. I can't go in there anymore knowing that my toppings have wings that just flew out from the mens room. Outside of that...great pizza.
Simply the Best – I finally decided to go to Aponte's Pizzeria Family restaurant the other day with my wife and daughter . We've been wanting to try their New Jersey style pizza. The pizza is truly a work of art. The toppings are fresh and plentiful and the pizza's are very large. We've tried the Four Cheese, Meat Feast and the Spinach and Feta and they are definitely not your typical pizza place. If you are looking for a great pizza in the Cincinnati area, please give Aponte's a try!
Good Pizza, worthy of another try: – Very good pizza. It is actually my son's favorite. It is NY style and very good. We like it not as dark as they make it, but one time we had it as they make it and it was still very good. The only reason I don't give it five stars is once we had a sausage pizza where the Italian sausage looked pink. My wife freaked out.
