Dr. Aponte's office might be one of the most unprofessional medical offices I have dealt with. I spent more than 2 weeks trying to make an appointment with them after a referral from my local PCP, and having my records transferred 3 times from my previous rheumatologist out of state. No return calls, just a run around from the office staff. Finally, I was told they aren't taking new patients. I have spent weeks wasted, sick, when I could have been waiting to be seen somewhere else.
Dr Aponte always listens to me and shows compassion, professionalism and caring. Her staff is courteous and professional as well.
Called back in December to make an appointment. My PCP had to fax over records. He did this on Jan. 28. The office refused to set up an appointment until they went through all their faces. Called 3/9 and was told fax never received. I have PCP fax confirmation page. This office prevents patients from making appointments. Horrible to deal with.
I was complaining about severe anxiety and anger issues and the nurse practitioner decides to increase the medication...that I later found out probably caused the issue. As it all stopped when those meds stopped. The medical records made me out to be a bad a bad guy in future divorce. Beware.
She is one of the best doctor that help me with arthritis and other issue I was suffering from she's the best
