Our experience with Apollo varied. The booking process was a nightmare with different operators telling us different things. They always seemed to cut the relocation deals down by a day making the timeframes very tight. (Don’t do a relocation unless you are happy driving huge hours every day. Poor experience with the staff of this rental business. After selling a ‘peace of mind’ full insurance, Apollo charged without any communication $1500 from my account for alleged damage. Turned out that the insurance had many hidden exclusions and the before pics were from a different van.. After spending a morning at the branch they confirmed I would get my funds back but it could take up to four weeks!! Don’t rent with these guys!
Super-helpful staff, they even threw in a few freebies! The van was perfect for our Kakadu-Nitmiluk jaunt and the price was right. With that breezy aircon it was like we never left the city.
