My partner’s spine collapsed the week of our stay. I contacted the host to reschedule the dates as my partner is bed bound and awaiting spine surgery. She refused to reschedule the dates and wanted me to book again (paying another $815). She stated she’d only refund us if someone else booked in on the exact dates we had. I find it abhorrent she tried to make another $815 either out of my pocket or someone else’s. Can feed the alpacas and sheep over the fence. Three minutes from town. Clean and had everything there to cook. Wood fire inside and out. Reverse cycle. Beautiful views.
What a lovely peaceful place to stay this is. Apollo Bay is such a fabulous place for a holiday. Great choice! And the Manager is very caring and a lovely person. Thanks guys!

My wife and I booked this accommodation some time ago Unfortunately my wife contacted Covid and we were forced to cancel our whole trip The Apollo Bay was just one of the stops we had planned as part of our stay Despite cancelling 7 days in advance we lost $400. I asked the host if she would consider refundunding a part of the $400 as she would have 7 days to find guests I understood that this would not be fair if she did not find guests to fill our place.
