One of my favorite places to be. If youre into model aviation or anything rc for that matter, this is place for you. They have areas for everything and everyone. Big planes, little planes, helps, drones, even rc cars are out here regularly.
I didn't know this place existed until mother's day ( Note: I am not an RC plane enthusiast, but I am a fan 😁). I needed somewhere between where I live, where I work, and my mom's house. Being M-day, and this was last minute for work reasons, i needed to figure out what to do. I found an acceptable restaurant, without reservations. Luckily my beautiful mother suggested a picnic. Incidents that I have experienced here are this: People demanding to use your tools and not returning them. People using you as a supply resource.The movie industry coming here and instructing you to lift heavy equipment for them. Scammers trying to sell you damaged planes they recovered and cheap rc planes that nobody in their right mind would fly. Scammers trying to get you to fly their defective planes so it crashes and they tell you that you must pay for the damage. Scammers asking for your telephone number (or else). Pe... read more
I have been a RC modeler for 50 + years and this model airport is the best in so cal. Open to the public, go out and watch.
I love this place. So cool to watch the pilots fly model aircraft. Especially when there are large events being held. Please be sure to mind the rules of the park and be respectful of the pilots and their models.
