Nazmul wanted to bring an authentic Indian dining experience to the East Village, which inspired him to start Apna Masala. To make the flavors reminiscent of traditional Indian food, we use only the freshest and finest ingredients to create the rich, full taste we're known for. Continuing our focus on authenticity, we have traditional pictures and lights hanging throughout and Bollywood music videos playing in the background.

Naan/ bread had a blowing smell of baking soda , chicken malai kabab had any thing but chicken tasted like it was frozen then microwaved and the fried to give fresh look, only nonindians can be fooled with disgusting food in the name of Indian cuisine 🤔
We have eaten here before but they had a dinner special we decided to try which came with appetizer, beer, entree and dessert. The meals were smaller, as anticipated but delicious nonetheless. My husband had ordered salmon but got a vegetarian dish instead and they were nice enough to give him the salmon without charging us! It's a nice inexpensive meal for Indian food lovers.
