This was well worth the drive. It’s a family-run establishment that uses fresh ingredients, and the food doesn’t leave you feeling heavy or sleepy. We ordered a little of everything and, even though we couldn’t finish it all, we still had room for dessert and cappuccino without feeling overstuffed. The atmosphere was lovely, with many friendly local regulars that made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful food and great experience!
The details on their web page and menu about their pizzas and pizza preparation is spot on. Truly Italian and true to the ingredients. We ordered the Bianca and New Haven they were spot on GREAT! The crust was thin and the ingredients were proportioned just right. We’ll be back.
The pizza here is good and if you want true neopolitan style, here ya go. However, I found the service and attitude to be a drag. It is simply, their way. No takeout, eat in only. Bring a smart phone and know how to access their menu. No substitutions. If you like their pizza and follow their rules, you will enjoy. If not, be prepared... Don’t waste your time or money. Pizza (if you can even call it that) is GROSS. That one pie that is supposed to be akin to New Haven pie doesn’t even come close to a reasonable facsimile. Pepe’s, Sally’s, Modern it’s NOT. IYKYK EDIT AFTER OWNER RESPONSE: I ordered "The New Haven" and ate it in-house. Like I said, don't waste your time or money.
First of all, the pizza was complete trash! I live in the New Haven area and this pizza was nothing like New Haven style pizza. It was soft and doughy and it was more like pita bread.
