Great service, everything fits and works great. I needed a new trim motor for a 125 HP Mercury; the Mercury dealers are back-ordered until July 2022, since they import everything. API is domestic and had the motor in-stock, guaranteed for 1 year and it was delivered the next day. Would definitely check with them before ordering new parts from manufacturer.
Bought an upgrade high output alternator, and of course a couple weeks outside the 1-year warranty it completely shorted out and blew the 90-amp fuse on the starter solenoid while at idle speed on the lake and left us stranded. I had a total of 4-5 hours on the new alternator. I reinstalled the OEM alternator and no problems at all… Sometimes you get a bad part, I guess. Called API to see if they would do anything for me and got the standard electrical parts bla, bla, bla. Just wanted to share my experience.
