We often work with, and rehabilitate the complex muscles in the head, neck, face, mouth, jaw – and everything within that. The goal is to train and improve the strength, tone and range of motion of muscle groups. Simultaneously, we rehabilitate orofacial function so that patients can speak, chew, swallow correctly, which ultimately helps them breathe and sleep better as well. We provide restorative therapy, pre-op/post- op therapy, and treatment of orofacial myofunctional dysfunctions and disorders (OMDs).

Sophia was amazing. She worked with my 5 year old son to increase his tongue strength and range of motion before and after having his tongue tie fixed. She found ways to make the exercises fun, and personalized for my son. She was available for help whenever we needed it and even gave my son a prize at the end for working on his exercises the whole time! I would highly recommend Myofunctional therapy with Sophia to anyone experiencing abnormal function of the oral cavity! Thank you Sophia!
