I am a dentist in rockland county that refers patients for root canal on a regular basis. Two of my patients have come to me in the last month with bills they paid that were OVER $3,500. While dentist can charge what they want this is price gouging for a service that other endodontist could have done just as well or better.One of the 2 patients that was overcharged had a root canal that needed to be redone by another endodontist.
