This is a scam company. Public.com trading platform asks you to wire transfer your funds to an Apex Clearing account to make larger deposits. My bank says the wire transfer cleared however the money never arrived. disappeared. I visited the local office which of course is empty. The one service number tells you to try another department which also doesn't exist. Public.com is a large trading platform so I thought they would be trustworthy. I have accounts with several different companies that use Apex Clearing House. I haven't had any problems over the two years I have been trying my hand at managing my own investments through those companies. I have had a couple of issues with one or two of those companies, nothing major, but no problem with the exceptional service Apex provides. I had the same experience with all of you. I had accounts with Loved/Flyte and they closed their service with only a week of notice. And I tried to do so but didn’t work. And all the accounts transferred to apex clearing and I cannot get a good contact info after lots of email. I couldn't even get account info without running around. I live in the overseas and it frustrated me a lot that I gave up, but since the tax seasons coming, I wanted to check. Apex Clearing has absolutely arcane ways of working, resulting in $15 monthly fees, twisted hoops and layers of tangled red tape, bureaucracy, and general user unfriendliness. My account was through another company, serviced through Apex Clearing. The other company shuttered the business, and transferred the account fully to Apex Clearing, with no way out. I sure hope the SEC will investigate this company. Imposiable to get a hold of to transfer your money out. They don't answer the phones and terrible at responding to emails. Its as though they have no idea what they are doing and can't respond to simple communication. I like others had my daughters money moved over from flyte to Apex Clearing and can't get it transfered to another brokerage they keep saying the SSN doesn't match. I am going to file a complaint with the SEC and encourage everone else to do the same.
