The sales rep told us the lojack security system is mandatory. It added over $2000 to the total, and he said he could knock about $1000 off to disable it, but the remainder was mandatory to pay for the stickers placed on the parts. That's absolutely not true - you're not required to charge us for that by any means, but we were told it's mandatory. Great buying experience!
LOJACK device only cost them $169 but they wanted to charge $1,200-2,500 for it and insisted it's mandatory even though if you do your research, it's absolutely not and CAN be removed. You see the "owner" Gary replying to all the negative reviews full of excuses and explanations. We came in with good faith to buy a car and left with a sour taste. I had a good experience looking at a car here and I am deciding 2-3 similar ones I’ve seen. At the end of my visit I asked the salesperson if there were any additional fees and only then did he mention $1000 for a totally unnecessary security package that you could not opt out of. This was not listed on any website and the listed cargurus price says it includes all fees. This is what gives used car dealers a bad name. On principle alone I would never buy here.
