Our experience at Los Banos Memorial Hospital Sutter Health while my daughter was in labor has been outstanding. We could not be happier with the care we received. The nurses on both the night shift and day shift were extremely helpful, respectful, and compassionate. They made sure my daughter had everything she needed throughout her time in the delivery room and provided excellent support during such an important moment for our family. Had a colonoscopy procedure. The nurses are super nice and helpful. They are very attentive and informative. I was very well taken care of. They followed up with a call to check on me and to answer any questions I might have had.
My dad had surgery there a few years ago and then my mom was there in the ICU months after that… I’ve been there in the ER for kidney stone issues, and we all three felt like this hospital was so very helpful and kind. My dad loved the food lol Yes, it is a small older hospital, but as far as the care, it was superb compared to some of the bigger off hospitals. The care and compassion is number one!
I am extremely disappointed with the level of care and professionalism I experienced during my visit. The nurses were unable to find my veins, and I was poked repeatedly by FOUR different nurses before anyone finally decided to use an ultrasound machine. As someone with multiple nurses in my family, I know there are basic techniques that should have been attempted first — including warm compresses, hydration recommendations, or other vein-finding methods — before repeatedly sticking a patient over and over again.
